31 Oct – "Neighbors" actor Seth Rogen has been confirmed to play the part of one third of the Apple co-founder trio, Steve Wozniak.

Rogen will be starring opposite Christian Bale, who was previously announced to be taking on the role of Steve Jobs himself, Variety reports.

Rogen's character will be based on the real-life Wozniak, who co-founded Apple Computer with Jobs and Ronald Wayne in 1976. The company was later renamed to Apple Inc. in 2007. By then, Wozniak has long left the company, making his departure in 1987. In the late 1970s, he was credited to have single-handedly designed both the Apple I and Apple II computers.

To be directed by Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle ("Slumdog Millionaire"), the Jobs biopic will be based on Walter Isaacson's biography "Steve Jobs".

It is confirmed by screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, also responsible for the script of 2010's award-winning "The Social Network", that the movie will be dialogue-heavy. The scenes in the movie will be divided into three long ones, each taking place backstage before Apple's product launch.

Rogen will be seen next in action comedy movie "The Interview" alongside James Franco, set for release in North America on Christmas Day 2014.
