EUFF brings in 21 movies

One of the films to be shown is "The Best Offer", starring Geoffrey Rush.

23 Oct – Fans of European movies will be able to catch 21 specially selected movies from 17 European countries when the 15th European Union Film Festival opens at participating Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) outlets, starting from this 30 October.

The 21 movies that will be screened are as follows:

  2. The Ice Dragon (Swedish)
  3. The Hunt (Danish)
  4. Niko 2: Little Brother, Big Trouble (English)
  5. Jappeloup (French)
  6. Divided We Fall (Czech)
  7. Your Beauty Is Worth Nothing (German / Turkish)
  8. Snow White (Spanish)
  9. The Best Offer (English)
  10. The Symmetry Of The Butterfly (Luxembourgish)
  11. The Kautokeino Rebellion (Swedish / Norwegian)
  12. A Royal Affair (Danish)
  13. Julia's Disappearance (German)
  14. Exit Through The Gift Shop (English)
  15. Stations Of The Cross (German)
  16. Tenderness (French)
  17. In Between Worlds (German)
  18. Mr. Twister (Dutch)
  19. 80 Million (Polish)
  20. The Broken Circle Breakdown (Dutch)
  21. I Am An Old Communist Hag (Romanian)


The Film Festival will take place at selected GSC outlets, starting at GSC 1 Utama, GSC Mid Valley and GSC Pavilion Kuala Lumpur from 30 October to 9 November.

It will then move on to GSC Gurney Plaza in Penang from 13 to 19 November, and later to Kuching's GSC CityOne Megamall from 27 November to 3 December, before making its final stop at Kota Kinabalu's GSC Suria Sabah from 11 to 17 December 2014.
