1 Nov – Almost every Disney animated classic have been getting in line for a live-action remake, and so it's only natural that the story of "Snow White", the first ever Disney animated film, would be up next for its very own live-action musical movie!

Not to be confused with the other "Snow White" project also by Disney called "Rose Red" - told in the point of view of Snow White's estranged sister, Rose Red, who originally appears in Grimms' Fairy Tales - the remake is said to be an expansion of Disney's 1937 animated film and will feature brand new songs penned by songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul of this year's "La La Land".

According to Variety, as of yet no actors have been cast and the film is still on the lookout for a director.

Just recently it was reported that Guy Ritchie might be directing the live-action "Aladdin" movie and that "Mulan", "The Lion King", "Oliver Twist" and "The Little Mermaid" have been added to Disney's 'live-action remake' lineup.

The next live-action Disney classic audiences would get to see on the big screen would be "Beauty and the Beast" starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens which is set for release in March of next year.
