New cinema opens at Melawati Mall

25 Aug – The new GSC cinema at Melawati Mall is now opened for business, following its opening ceremony yesterday.
Equipped with ten digital screens with a seating capacity of 1, 424, GSC Melawati Mall marks GSC's 35th franchise nationwide.
According to GSC Chief Executive Koh Mei Lee, the new branch will offer new cinematic experience to the people of Melawati.

"We bring to you state of the art technologies such as the Dolby Atmos, which provides audience with exciting audio experience, along with the instalment of DBOX seats, which move along with the image and sound of a movie.
"We want the audience not to only watch the movie, but to feel it as well," she said during the opening ceremony of GSC Melawati Mall yesterday.
In celebration of Malaysia's 60th Independence Day, viewers can enjoy various local and international movies such as "Abang Long Fadil 2", "American Made", "IT", "Kingsman: The Golden Circle", "The Lego Ninjago Movie" and many more at the new cinema.

GSC also provides great promotion for their loyal customers in collaboration with Grab Car whereby a certain discount will be received upon a trip to Melawati Mall.
The celebration continues with future appearance of superhero characters at the new branch.
