Jackie Chan is one of the two Asian celebrities on the Forbes 2018 list.

18 Jul – Action superstar Jackie Chan was only one of the two Asian celebrities who made it to Forbes's World Highest-Paid Celebrities list for the year 2018.

As reported on Tencent, the actor, who was placed at the 59th spot, was revealed to have earned USD 45.5 million based on the data provided by major research companies.

The list counts the total pre-tax earnings of celebrities from 1 June 2017 to 1 June 2018.

Jackie has appeared in six films that came out in 2017, including the Sino-Bollywood collaboration "Kung Fu Yoga", the animated feature "The Lego Ninjago Movie", as well as the British thriller, "The Foreigner" - the latter which earned Jackie praise from the critics for his performance.

Aside from Jackie, the other Asian star in the list is Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is placed at the 82nd spot with USD 37.7 million.

Although the top spot went to former professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, it was reality TV star Kylie Jenner who attracted the most attention at number three, making her the youngest female celebrity to be listed at the top with USD 166.5 million in earnings.
