GSC Central Square commenced business on 7th June 1997 with 3 halls and a total seating capacity of 666. After being in business for a long time, the outlet finally closed on 31st October 2012 due to opening of GSC Amanjaya Mall, also in Sungai Petani on 1 November 2012.
