The first cinema in Malaysia's new administrative capital, GSC Alamanda officially opened to the public on 5 April 2007. Located at the entertainment hub (below Rasa Food Court) of Alamanda Shopping Centre, the cineplex is on the ground floor unlike other GSC locations that are usually on higher levels. The 8-screen location also boasts disabled friendly amenities like a hydraulic lift for easy access. However, wheelchair access from the shopping mall is not possible as it is connected to the entertainment hub by escalator.
