You might have heard about director Ahmad Idham plan of releasing "Jangan Pandang-Pandang" as his last horror film. Unfortunately, Idham's last attempt on the genre falls short on certain areas.

"Jangan Pandang-Pandang" is a comedy that tells the horrifying journey of five University students, Ajis, Ben, Yaya, Diana and Marsha to find artefacts at the mysterious and abandoned cave named Gua Bewah for the sake of their final year project.

During its 90 minute duration, audiences will most probably be shaking their heads for the uncreative and poorly-written storyline of the production, as most of the jokes seem to be not funny at all.

The highlight of the movie however comes in the form of Zizan Razak, who propels "Jangan Pandang-Pandang" to glory with his madness and playful attitude as Ajis. His character leads his friends along their adventurous trip that bring them into unexpected supernatural incidents.

A particularly noteworthy scene would be a where Ajis tries to save Yaya from a supernatural attack by playing Wahida's funky track "Wassini" on his cell phone. The clash between the song and the chaotic situation generates some hearty laughter indeed.

Overall, "Jangan Pandang-Pandang" is the same as the previous movies of its similar genre. It fulfils both the comedy aspect and the scare factor, however sadly it is not the best out of the bunch.
