The Good, the Bad and the Case

Aaron Aziz makes his debut as a film director and he strives to make a difference by focusing on the social issues of today's teen crowd. The choice to incorporate a comedic element in an action film is a well-calculated move in bringing in the audience. The storyline is interesting as it is relatable to most, namely college students, though they probably do not get involved in such extreme criminal cases. The film takes inspiration from Hollywood's "Bad Boys" and its comedic nature will get the crowd roaring with laughter. Nabil Ahmad pulls off a serious character effortlessly even though he is, by profession, a never-serious comedian. Nabil also has a perfect chemistry with Aaron Aziz, making them a good undercover team on screen. Fizo Omar, though seldom given the chance to play the bad guy, proves he can tackle the part just as good as he does with his other onscreen characters.

Look Out For:

Datin Nina Juren playing the part of a widow who falls for Inspector Romi.

Trivia:

This is the first time for Aaron Aziz to direct as well as star in a movie.
