The Good, the Bad and the Missing Mother

• A melodrama film filled with overbearing dialogues and unnecessary teen angst that makes the main suspense seem a bit flat.

• The film shows the disturbing and dysfunctional bond between a mother and a daughter with a fine acting performance by Shailene Woodley and Eva Green portraying a twisted mother-daughter relationship.

• Shailene Woodley seems to be more willing to accept grown up roles that require her to strip on screen, for which she does quite often in this movie.

Trivia

• Eva Green, who plays Shailene Woodley's mother in the film is in reality, only 12 years older than Woodley.
