The Good, the Bad and the Endless Friendship:

"The Dream Boyz" starts with eight best friends that have the same goal, which is to debut their first film before they graduate from their school and at the same time save their Drama Society, by hoping that the first film that they produce will attract other students to join too. After their film project is done and was shown during graduation day, all eight friends move on with their life.

The film will definitely make one feel nostalgic about the good old days at high school, especially via the familiar situations depicted in some of the scenes, like passing notes during class, teasing friends and also joining the same activities as your friends just so all of you can be together.

However, it felt like there were too many extra characters that would not have affected the movie if they were taken out from it. Things got a little confusing with the additional names and roles to remember when no significant impact on the story was made. Although the film contains a few similar elements with the popular Taiwanese film, "You Are the Apple of My Eye," "The Dream Boyz" still has its own local-flavoured originality.

Some of the scenes will give audiences an unexpected yet hilarious surprise. However it isn't the funniest movie out there, but still the movie would surely elicit a few laughs.
