The Good, the Bad and the True Love:
The long-awaited sequel of the highly successful Indonesian romantic drama, "Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2" doesn't disappoint as it is everything that the fans could ever wish for.
With director Riri Riza (former "AADC" producer) getting the honour to direct the second film, the sequel turned out to be just as good as the first film, and might even have the chance to become one of the top Asian films of the year.
Each of the returning cast did a splendid job in delivering each of their respective roles, just like how they did in the first film - but only better!
Specifically Nicholas Saputra and Dian Sastrowardoyo, as their performance together reminded us of the nostalgic first film they were a part of when they were younger and the chemistry between them has not faded even a little bit.
The film is simply sweet and enjoyable, but for those who have never watched the first film might not enjoy it as much as those who did, as the second one has quite a number of references from the first movie and is very closely related.
• This sequel was made 14 years after the first movie.
