Watch this if you liked: “Murder on the Orient Express” (1974)

The Good, the Bad and the Murder Suspect:

• Being the fourth adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel of the same name, this movie is sadly not the best entry, but it does stands out in terms of its visual thanks to the modern technology of today.

• While the adaptation does have its heart in the right place, it doesn't quite deliver the same intensity and mystery you would expect from Christie's works, which deserves a lot more effort than this.

• The movie falls short compared to the 1974 version of the adaptation, but there is still enough here to keep the story from going off its tracks.

• Despite the several missed opportunities, Kenneth Branagh leads a phenomenal all-star cast with excellent performances.

• Overall, the movie is a decent remake of Agatha Christie's classic, and it's beautifully shot despite not having enough steam.

Trivia:

• Most of the cast and extras are made up of Kenneth Branagh's closest friends and acquaintances.
