The Good, the Bad and the Childhood Memories:

• Based on a true story and adapted from a book, the movie is a touching piece but extremely dialogue driven, so if you're not into a movie with plenty of talking, then this is not for you.

• The movie is good to a certain extent, but the book is always a lot better. But nevertheless, the story still draws the audience in and we can definitely feel the pain and despair felt through the family.

• Though the story can be better, the good acting and the well-developed characters help the audience overlook the tiny flaws, and Oscar-winning Brie Larson contributed the most with her marvellous delivery.

Trivia:

• Jennifer Lawrence was attached to star and produce, but dropped out due to scheduling issues.
