The Good, the Bad and the Mismatched Duo:

• A fast-paced buddy cop thriller with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments but also tackles several important social issues.

• The movie is pretty much like every buddy cop movie, where two mismatched characters end up working together and form an unlikely bond and friendship.

• The only difference is that the director's style and approach makes this movie seems friendlier and more appealing to the female audience.

• Having two Korean heartthrobs as the main leads is also another reason why the movie would appeal to the ladies, but the two actors doesn't exactly rely on their looks in this movie, it is their strong chemistry that makes the story and comedy works.

• Since the movie also touches on a couple of darker themes, it smoothly transitioned from a comedy to a serious action drama.
