Watch this if you liked: “Troublesome Night” series

The Good, the Bad and the Troublesome Night:

• Director Herman Yau is certainly productive this year. From action title "Shock Wave", to gore flick "The Sleep Curse", and rom-com "77 Heartbreaks", he is unstoppable.

• Now, he presents another movie of the horror genre, "Always Be With You" which is also part of the successful Hong Kong horror anthology "Troublesome Night".

• The movie is not exactly the best entry of the franchise, but it is also not the worst. The film brings back familiar feelings to those who are well acquainted with the anthology.

• Like other films from the franchise, the movie has a sufficient amount of comedy, a feat that is quite common in Hong Kong horror films, especially the vampire series.

• The movie feature big stars like Louis Koo, Charmaine Sheh, Julian Cheung, Charlene Choi, and Gordon Lam, who didn't exactly convey their best performance, but it is still fun to see all these faces in one film.

Trivia:

• This film marks the 20th anniversary of "Troublesome Night" horror franchise and is also the 20th title of the series.
