The Rope Curse
It is believed that when someone commits suicide by hanging, the rope used in the act will be cursed. In China`s Fujian Province, ancient rituals are carried out to lift the curse from the rope by setting it on fire and placing it in the sea. Taiwan still practices the ritual to this day as a sign of respect for the deceased. Intrigued by it, Jia-Wei, a daytime television network employee who spends his nights streaming videos of bizarre things, and his fiancee decide to make a viral video by streaming the ritual. However, the couple ends up falling into a deadly curse that turns their lives upside down.
