Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior
During the late 17th century, war erupts between the Mughal and Maratha empires as both sides fight for control of the strategic hill fortress, Kondhana. Known as the Battle of Sinhagad, it erupts when Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb declares the fortress as the capital of Southern India. He plans to expand the Mughal empire into South India from there. To protect Southern India from the invasion, Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj sends General Tanaji Malusare to capture Kondhana, but Aurangzeb retaliates by assigning his trusted commander Uday Bhan to defend the fortress.
