3 Nov – A spooky affair was set for the cinema when celebrities, industry players and fans attended the gala premiere of upcoming Malaysian action movie "Antoo Fighter", held in GSC Mid Valley on Halloween night, 31 October 2008. Guests include popular TV series "Dunia Baru" stars like Almy Nadia, Anita Baharom and Wan Ellyas, director Razak Mohaideen, and actors the likes of Betty Banafe, Avaa Vanja and Eizlan Yusoff among the few who graced the red carpet.

The casts all in red and black, except for Awie.

The Antoo Fighter ghostbusters wandered around the cinema taking pictures with fans before the arrival of the director and the cast, all donned in red and black, the official colours of "Antoo Fighter" except for Awie, the movie's resident evil. Emcee of the night was none other than popular TV host Fedtri Yahya who livened up the night.

Speaking to the media, Ngasrizal Ngasri, better known as Bell, talked about his character as one of the Antoo fighters. He said: "My involvement has given me a lot of new experiences as the film is heavy on CGI. I had to imagine a lot of scenes because the effects would only be inserted later. It's not easy and also very challenging!"

"If there is one word for the movie, the word would be gempak! (awesome)" he said.

Avaa Vanja, Almy Nadia and Wan Ellyas came for the show.

"Antoo Fighter", a product of director Azizi "Chunk" Adnan, is Malaysia's very own Ghostbusters with a local flavour. Loaded with lots of CGI, the movie tells the story of a group of friends who end up being ghost hunters in order to save Kuala Lumpur from a group of ghastly creatures from the past led by Drakulat Van Listerooy (Awie), who – together with his army of ghouls- returns to the city to free one of Satan's spawn – Lord Sharon.

"Antoo Fighter" will be ghostbusting in cinemas nationwide 27 November 2008.
