12 Jan – Following the success of last year's Razak Mohaideen box office hit "Duyung", actress Yasmin Hani Richardson is reunited with the director in Line Clear Motion Picture's latest project, "2 Jiwa 1 Hati".
Speaking at a filming location in Shah Alam recently, Yasmin Hani (fondly known as Hani) is excited to play the role of Lana, the older sister of a pair of Siamese twins.
"I really want to be tested as an actress. I wanted to be given a chance to play a role that would challenge me both physically and mentally. When Prof. Razak approached me to star in a movie about a pair of Siamese twins, I didn't have to think twice to accept it."
Elaborating further on her experience throughout filming, she said: "Imagine the agony that I have to face every day when I have to stick to Fouziah all the time. Our heads and shoulders stick together. Imagine the pain and stress that we have to deal with every day. How complicated it was for us to move around, like going to the loo and eating while we're taking a break. Thankfully, Fouziah is an easygoing person and we get on fine. There's one or two odd and bizarre moments between us once but I won't say!"

Collaborating for the second time with director Razak Mohaideen, the soon-to-turn-30 TV host and actress finds it as an amazing experience for her as an actress and a person.

"The director has been like a good brother to me. Throughout the shoot, he has been very understanding and encouraging - motivating me to stick on the right track to deliver the best emotional display for the movie. Each time he notices my face turn sour or look uncomfortable, he would approach me and say something to inspire me to persevere and never give up."
"2 Jiwa 1 Hati" is a story about conjoined Siamese twins Lana and Lina, who go through some emotional turmoil due to their special condition and decide to undergo medical operation to separate them.
Recently wrapped up after 25 shooting days, the movie also lines up Fahrin Ahmad, Mustafa Kamal, Ziela Jalil and Jalil Hamid among others.
"2 Jiwa 1 Hati" is due for a 2009 late release.
