Writer: Dzamira Dzafri

10 Oct – "Rush" stars Chris Hemsworth of "Thor" fame and German heartthrob Daniel Bruhl about the 1970s rivalry between Formula One rivals James Hunt and Niki Lauda. Directed by Ron Howard, the bio-drama is well-received by critics and audiences and critics say that it was "definitely a movie worth paying for".

Set against the sexy, glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing in the 1970s, the film is based on the true story of a great sporting rivalry between handsome English playboy James Hunt (Hemsworth), and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Austrian driver Niki Lauda (Bruhl). The story follows their distinctly different personal styles on and off the track, their loves and the astonishing 1976 season in which both drivers were willing to risk everything to become the world champion.

We ask some of the Cinema Online fans what they think of the film!

Kelvin Lim: I rate the movie 4/5 stars. I really enjoyed the parts of the film when they race their cars, but the conversation parts of the film were only 'so-so'.

Lau Sai Yew: I rate it 4/5! I'm not a big fan of the genre but it turned out to be a surreal experience! I felt like I was going through a class to learn about F1 driving!
