Writer: Elaine Ewe

Among our winners are a couple who enjoy Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng films!

8 Jul – Recently, we gave out passes to Cinema Online's contest winners to attend the preview screening for "Blind Detective"! Nine years after the trio last worked together on "Yesterday Once More" in 2004, Andy Lau, Sammi Cheng and director Johnnie To return for "Blind Detective", a romantic comedy and crime thriller film.

The film tells the story of a blind detective named Johnston Chong See Tun (Andy Lau), who became that way after an accident on a case. Forced to leave service after turning blind, Johnston ekes out his living by solving cold cases for police rewards. During a bank robbery case, he runs into the attractive rookie officer Goldie Ho Ka Tung (Sammi Cheng). Awed by Johnston's skills in solving the case, Goldie enlists his help in a personal case involving a serial killer who targets heartbroken women.

Read on to find out what our winners had to say about the film!
