The Baes of Baywatch

Who do you want to be rescued by?

It's time to get wet this summer for one of the raunchiest comedies to be released this year.

The summer season is making a splash with a new reboot franchise from a well-loved television series, waving in from the beaches of Florida. Starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, "Baywatch" has been about saving lives and solving crimes, as much as the gratuitous use of slow motion to admire the life guards who are risking their lives.

So before putting your swimsuits on, here are the new baes guarding the beach in the new "Baywatch"!

Alexandra Daddario as Summer Quinn

Joining as a new recruit to the Baywatch crew, Summer Quinn is a genuine member of the team who is out there to serve and save lives. Tough but also at the same time smart, Summer also knows how to swerve with a surfboard. This is Alexandra Daddario's second collaboration with Dwayne Johnson after "San Andreas", and she was also Annabeth from the "Percy Jackson" series.

Kelly Rohrbach as C.J. Parker

Being the role that is embodied by Pamela Anderson means that her replacement will have big shoes (or suits) to fill, and we are looking forward to see how actress and model Kelly Rohrbach will do to own the character. Kelly has already made numerous small appearances in television shows and movies (including an uncredited role for Woody Allen's "Cafe Society"), and she has also appeared on the swimsuit issue for Sports Illustrated.

Ilfenesh Hadera as Stephanie Holden

Baywatch trainer and experienced lifeguard Stephanie Holden is one of the more respected characters of the series who shares leadership with Mitch Buchannon (played by Dwayne Johnson). The strict role will be played by Ilfenesh Hadera, who aside from making common appearances on television, was also in Spike Lee's "Chi-raq" and "Old Boy".

Priyanka Chopra as Victoria Leeds

Victoria Leeds is the scrupulous, if not also seductive, new owner of the Huntley Club who is also suspected of using her establishment to run an illicit business. Originally written as a male character, director Seth Gordon decided to rewrite the part for former Miss Universe winner Priyanka Chopra, after a meeting with her to have her join as one of the lifeguards. We are only glad that the villain will be just as gorgeous as the lifeguards in the movie.
