What Hollywood stars are up to at home during Social Distancing

How do the rich and famous entertain themselves while stuck at home?
How do the rich and famous entertain themselves while stuck at home?

As evidenced by the number of celebrities that have tested positive for COVID-19, the rich and famous are not immune from the deadly virus. During the social distancing enforced in the US, most Hollywood celebs now find themselves spending long hours at home instead of movie sets. Let's take a look at how some of these movie stars entertain themselves while staying put at home.

Drinks with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

One constant thing followers will see on The Rock's Instagram (apart from his exercise videos – come one, those muscles don't just happen) is posts about his Teremana Tequila. With his movie projects put on hold now, he's had plenty of time to concoct the 'teremana "quarantina" margarita'.

Gal Gadot wants people to "Imagine" together

The "Wonder Woman" star has since made several more posts after uploading this video, such as wishing her father a happy 60th birthday and reposting Zachary Levi's tribute to the medical frontliners. But this haphazard compilation – though made with good intention – of rich people singing about imagining a world with no possessions will always be what Gal Gadot is remembered for during this pandemic.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds encourage donations

This Hollywood power couple has each been uploading posts that encourage their followers to make donations. Known for their funny antics, there's always a touch of humour in their posts. Ryan's hashtag is #TipYourBartenders, since his posts are mostly about his Aviation American Gin, while Blake wants everyone to remind her husband there's no such thing as "emotional distancing" from his mother-in-law.

Kristen Bell offers game night to lucky generous fan

This "Frozen" star has teamed up with online fundraising platform Omaze to support the COVID-19 relief efforts. Anyone who donates via her Omaze link will stand a chance to win a game night, over video, with her!

Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson offered burger

Same like Kristen Bell, this motherf****r partnered up with Omaze to encourage fans to donate. Not same like Ms. Bell (a.k.a. Mrs. Dax Shepard), he offered a chance to grab a tasty burger with him. No idea how that went since he didn't, or maybe hasn't, posted an update about the burger date.

Josh Gad shares "Muppets" script

Ever the class clown, Josh Gad (Olaf! Samantha?) wants to put a smile on everyone's face by sharing the script of the unproduced "Muppets Live Another Day", which he wrote with Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis.

Work out with Chris Hemsworth

Of course Thor has to work out (cue all the 'but Thor in "Avengers: Endgame"' jokes). While staying at home, both Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky are encouraging people to stay fit. Well, not sitting on our butts all day long is one way to look as attractive as this couple.

Have a kid? Need them entertained for the next 11 minutes? Well, click the link to watch Katherine and I read, "Maverick and Me," to benefit @savewithstories @savethechildren @nokidhungry We are not just shamelessly plugging her book here. We're reading her book as it is author approved. Apparently you can't just read any old book. SOOO.... if you're a Childrens author and would allow your book to be read- please send approval to @savewithstories and maybe I can talk some of my famous friends into reading them as a way to entertain our kiddos. Each of the above mentioned organizations are helping in this time of need. Katherine and I are making donations to each. If you have the means we respectfully ask that you donate too, if you please. Enjoy the stories! #GodBless #StaySafe #WeRise

Let Chris Pratt and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger read to your children, or you. If you're a children's book author, this is your chance to get these two to read your book on their social media!
