What will be your choice?

The final month of 2020 is upon us and it brings to us quite a selection of interesting series to watch on various streaming platforms.

Not surprisingly, Netflix has the most new titles, hence its domination in our list below. Of course, there are other interesting picks from other OTT service providers.

Let's check them out below!

Alice in Borderland (10 Dec) – Netflix

Manga fans should recognise the title and yes, that popular Japanese manga now has a live-action Netflix adaptation. Starring Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya and Nijiro Murakami, the official synopsis reads: "An aimless gamer and his two friends find themselves in a parallel Tokyo, where they're forced to compete in a series of sadistic games to survive."

The Wilds (11 Dec) - Amazon Prime

Think "Lost", but with teen girls. This Amazon Prime Video original series follows a group of teenage girls who end up stranded on a deserted island, after their plane crashed. This should be interesting since the series is created by Sarah Streicher ("Daredevil"), who also executive produced alongside Dylan Clark ("Bird Box"), Jamie Tarses ("Happy Endings") and Amy B. Harris ("The Carrie Diaries").

The Flight Attendant (17 Dec) – HBO

Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco have another reason to give thanks this year, when her new HBO miniseries premiered with the first three of its eight episodes on Thanksgiving last month. This 3 and 10 December, two more episodes will be released each day. The story will then wrap up with a pretty bow on top when the series finale airs on 17 December.

Home for Christmas: Season 2 (18 Dec) – Netflix

So who was waiting for Johanne (Ida Elise Broch) as she opened the door in that final episode of season one? Looks like we'll find out soon enough when the second season of Netflix's first Norwegian original series drops down the OTT chimney this month! Let's find out together if she will find her one true love this Christmas.

Bridgerton (25 Dec) – Netflix

Here's a very merry Christmas gift for Netflix fans! All eight episodes of this new series, which is based on the best-selling novels by Julia Quinn, will be available come Christmas Day. Shonda Rhimes, well known serving as show runner for "Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal", produced the period drama. Julie Andrews will be among the cast, lending her voice to the character Lady Whistledown.
