See the "Star Trek" cast in new stills

The third instalment of the "Star Trek" reboot movie series is set to open in cinemas this summer.

Directed by Justin Lin ("Fast and Furious" movies), "Star Trek Beyond" follows the crew of the USS Enterprise, halfway into their five-year mission. When they are attacked by aliens and become stranded on an unknown planet, they find themselves facing a new ruthless enemy.

The upcoming sci-fi movie will star Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban and more. See how each of their characters looks like in the movie as shown via these newly-released movie stills.

"Star Trek Beyond" venture into cinemas on 21 July 2016.

Karl Urban plays Bones.
