Cinema Online 20: TV shows that turned 20 this year!

Continuing our 20th anniversary celebration, we bring you a slew of TV shows that were released in 1998! Previously, we listed down a bunch of awesome movies that turned 20 – like us – this year, this time around we take a look at the TV shows that were first aired two decades ago. You'll see some familiar faces because quite a few of these actors have transitioned from the small screen to the big screen over the years.

Charmed

Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano kicked off the eight-season "Charmed" in October 1998 as
a trio of powerful witch sisters known as The Charmed Ones. Rose McGowan joined as the youngest sister from
the season four onwards. While the original series ended in 2006, a reboot series started airing this year.

The Powerpuff Girls

Girl power! We can't forget this other trio of world-saving sisters. Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles were officially introduced
as The Powerpuff Girls in November 1998. The show ended in 2005 but numerous spinoff media have emerged since.

Two of A Kind

You're a '90s kid if you remember growing up watching everything Olsen Twins. Mary-Kate and Ashley's (they're always billed in this order) first TV show after playing the baby in "Full House" was "Two of A Kind", where the identical twin sisters both got to appear onscreen as the daughters of a widowed college professor.
