Cinema Online 20: TV shows that turned 20 this year!

Continuing our 20th anniversary celebration, we bring you a slew of TV shows that were released in 1998! Previously, we listed down a bunch of awesome movies that turned 20 – like us – this year, this time around we take a look at the TV shows that were first aired two decades ago. You'll see some familiar faces because quite a few of these actors have transitioned from the small screen to the big screen over the years.

Sex and the City

Sarah Jessica Parker's name is synonymous to Carrie Bradshaw, the character she starred as in "Sex and the City", both the TV and movie versions. The TV series – about a group of women living in New York City – came first, airing from 1998 until 2004, and spawned two movies in 2008 and 2010.

Whose Line Is It Anyway?

There's a British version and an American version but we'll talk of the latter since it began in 1998 (10 years after the British show it's adapted from first aired). Drew Carey hosted the improvisational comedy show that features Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, and Wayne Brady as its regular performers. It was cancelled in 2003 but was revived in 2013 with a different lineup.

Power Rangers in Space

Go go Power Rangers! Before it was a movie, "Power Rangers" was a TV series. "Power Rangers in Space" is the sixth season of the franchise. It ran from February to November 1998 and picked up where "Power Rangers Turbo" left off.
