1 Feb – Over its seventh weekend, "Avatar" remains unfazed in the United States box office after breaking the world record for the highest grossing movie of all time last week. According to Box Office Mojo, it has now crossed the US$2 billion worldwide mark with US$2.039 billion dollars, easily beating the US$1.8 billion made by "Titanic". It was also reported that the film raked in an estimated US$30 million, making it the highest-grossing seventh weekend ever, surpassing "Titanic"'s US$25.9 million, although "Titanic" was much higher in estimated attendance.
