6 May – Following the footsteps of Japanese pornstars namely Maria Ozawa ("Menculik Miyabi") and Sora Aoi ("Hormones"), who have successfully crossed over to mainstream works, young adult video idol Rin Sakuragi takes on a role in Indonesia's horror comedy "Suster Keramas".
Currently screening in Malaysia, Sakuragi plays a Japanese tourist in search for a lady who used to work as a nurse for her deceased father, while the movie trailer features her doing plenty of flaunting, including some seductive moves with female co-star Herfiza Novianti.
Fortunately, the film did not spark a huge controversy in Indonesia as compared to "Menculik Miyabi" ("Kidnapping Miyabi") starring 24-year-old Japanese-French-Canadian Maria Ozawa, who plays as her pornstar self kidnapped by a fan boy. Initially slotted to screen in October 2009, the film was delayed due to the strong protest by the Muslim population as it was deemed immoral. However, current reports have shown that the movie had finally passed Indonesia's censorship board and have begun playing in cinemas today.
