30 Apr – The 9-screen TGV Wangsa Walk in Wangsa Walk Mall opened last night, revealing a new look and feel that harks back to yesteryears when TGV 1 Utama first opened to a curious public and set off the cineplex trend.

According to TGV Cinemas CEO Goh Seow Eng, this 14th outlet will mark the continuing efforts by the chain to provide the best to the cinemagoing public. He said: "Our chain now has 109 screens across the country and we will open next in Mesra Mall, Kerteh, Terengganu, this July 2010."

Film distributors, exhibitors and industry VIPs were notably impressed with the new look and feel of the outlet, particularly the spacious legroom between aisles and the new colour schemes for carpets, corridors and halls. There is also a staff-assisted concealed ramp leading to the halls for disabled wheelchair access.

The mall opened earlier in February and is situated behind Carrefour in Bandar Wangsa Maju.
