30 Nov – Wee Li Lin's romantic comedy "Forever" is set have its world premiere at two festivals on the same day – both the 34th Cairo International Film Festival and the 12th Jakarta International Film Festival (Jiffest) on 1 December 2010. "Having two world premieres in Cairo and Jakarta is a perfect start for a film about two people who find love just at the crossroads of fantasy and reality," said Director Wee Li Lin. "I'm looking forward to both festivals and can't wait to hear what our first audiences from Cairo and Jakarta have to say about my offbeat little film," she added. Wee will be attending Jiffest along with Art Director Charles Lim while Producer Silvia Wong will be at Cairo. "Forever" is a Mandarin-language film shot on location in Singapore. The main cast includes Taiwanese actor Mo Tzu Yi, Singapore award-winning theatre actress Joanna Dong and newcomer Sarah Ng Li-Wen. The Singapore theatrical release is scheduled for March 2011, while a Malaysian release is yet to be confirmed.
