Some angry parents present at the scene started shouting while some teenage girls turned abusive, although it was not unruly and there are no major untoward incidents. A young girl was understood to have made her way down from Penang to Petaling Jaya to catch the marathon but was among the unfortunate portion of the crowd who were stranded outside the hall. The rest of the crowd watched the three movies in the franchise - "Twilight", "New Moon" and "Eclipse" - from 9.30pm to 5.00am, punctuated by lucky draws and prize-giving sessions to an enthusiastic audience who came in sleepwear theme.
