Chapman To (L) & Wong Cho Lam partner up in "La Comedie Humaine".

26 June – Fans of Hong Kong's hottest multi-tainer Wong Cho Lam, get ready to meet the funnyman in Malaysia as he will be stopping by for a promo tour on 12 July 2010 to promote his latest film "La Comedie Humaine".

Wong Cho Lam ("Connected", "72 Tenants Of Prosperity", "La Lingerie") started out as a supporting actor for several TVB Hong Kong dramas, but when his performance as Lau Wah in TVB's long running series "Best Selling Secret" earned him a Best Improved Actor at the 2008 TVB Anniversary Awards, film offers began to pour in for Wong. Recently, he has starred in "72 Tenants Of Prosperity", playing Jacky Cheung's son who develops feelings for Linda Chung. Besides acting, Wong also released an album entitled "Cho Lam Everywhere" as well as hosting for several highly rated variety shows including the much-talked "Fun With Liz And Gods" where his impersonations mainly ranges from superstars to popular movie characters.

"La Comedie Humaine" tells about a professional hit man (Chapman To) from China who is rescued by a hapless nerdy screenwriter (Wong Cho Lam) and the two becomes close. The nerd becomes close to his new friend and tells him his sad story involving a beautiful woman (Fiona Sit). The movie will also feature appearances by Hong Kong rap duo FAMA and Benz Hui.

In conjunction with the promo tour, RAM Entertainment will be organising a private fans gathering and gala premiere for "La Comedie Humaine" where fans will get to win passes to both events, movie merchandises and meet the man himself.
