4 Feb – The "Drive Angry 3D" one-day convoy from Kuala Lumpur to Penang will start on 26 February 2011 at 8.30 am with dozens of luxury vehicles in tow, as part of a promo collaboration between film distributor Nusantara Edaran Filem and Cinema Online. The convoy is scheduled to begin the journey from Sungai Buloh, Selangor towards 1st Avenue Mall in Penang for a special screening of the "Drive Angry" movie in 3D at the newly-opened TGV 1st Avenue. Along the way, the team will be making a few pit-stops at Rest & Relax areas in Kuala Kangsar, Perak and Juru Arah Selatan, Penang.
"Drive Angry" stars Nicolas Cage as Milton, a hardened felon who has broken out for one last chance at redemption and therefore hell-bent on stopping a vicious cult of fanatics who murdered his daughter – but he has three days to stop them before they sacrifice his infant granddaughter beneath a full moon.
"Drive Angry" will be showing at the cinemas in Malaysia on 25 February and in Singapore on 17 March 2011.
