Anne Hathaway gleeful for Glee

22 Sep – Actress Anne Hathaway who had always expressed her desire to be on the hit TV musical show "Glee", will be meeting the series creator Ryan Murphy this week to discuss her role in the upcoming third season, according to a report on Perez Hilton's website.

(Left) Anne Hathaway will possibly play Chris Colfer's lesbian aunt in the upcoming season of "Glee".

The actress would be joining in the footsteps of fellow actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who had a multiple episode appearance last season. She would reportedly play the lesbian aunt to her gay nephew, Kurt Hummel, who is played by 21-year-old Chris Colfer.

"I'm meeting with Anne in the next couple weeks. We're not going to do guest stars at all the first half of the season, but I would love to work with her and she supposedly has the whole thing mapped out. I'm curious as to what she wants to do. I love her. I think she's great," said Murphy who responded to the press at the red carpet of the Emmy Awards yesterday.

No stranger to singing has sung at the Oscars before, and had just recently performed a rap number on an American talk show, "The Conan O'Brien Show".

She previously also stated she'd like to duet on "Into the Woods" with Colfer while on the show, but Murphy is remaining tight-lipped about the actual plans.
