23 Dec – Eva Green is set to play the role of Greek Goddess named Artemisia in the prequel to the popular vision piece, "300", for the upcoming "300: The Battle Of Artemisia". After negotiations with Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures, the former Bond girl is confirmed to act as a ruthless Goddess who persuades Xerves to gather his army and lead them into war in this movie written and produced by "300" director, Zack Snyder. There is still no information on the male lead for this movie as the production is expected to start in the first quarter of 2012. Green is well recognised for playing James Bond's lover, Vesper Lynd, in "Casino Royale", alongside Daniel Craig. She recently finished her work on "Dark Shadows", a gothic soap opera by Tim Burton starring Johnny Depp.
