According to Empire Online, the 14-year-old is director Robert Stromberg's choice to star in his live-action Disney film "Maleficent" in the lead role as Princess Aurora alongside Hollywood megastar Angelina Jolie, who has been rumored to play the iconic villain. Signing the deal will net the actress the role of Princess Aurora, who was cursed to sleep for decades by the malevolent fairy named Maleficent, who is also capable of turning into a dragon when enraged. Although complete details of the film have yet to be released, it was said that scriptwriter Linda Woolverton's script will tell the tale from the villain's point of view, and uncover the reasons behind the complicated relationship between the princess and her nemesis. Filming will take place in London sometime in June.
