GSC Lite launched


GSC Mentakab Star Mall is now open for business.
16 Mar – A modest yet accessible cinematic experience was introduced by the GSC Brand - GSC Lite with the opening of its first 6-hall GSC Lite cinema in Mentakab Star Mall in Star City, Mentakab yesterday.

As the first multiplex in Mentakab, the 1, 093 seater will allow moviegoers from surrounding towns like Temerloh and Jerantut to watch movies the same time they are released in the Klang Valley cinemas including digital 2D and 3D movies as well.

Designed as a more modest version than GSC's standard cinemas, GSC Mentakab which was built with a budget of RM8.5 million has all the usual facilities of a multiplex with tickets priced RM2 cheaper than the usual amount, however its structure doesn't allow for easy mobility for the handicapped.

In line with the other GSC cinemas, there will also be online ticketing facility (GSC e-payment) available at GSC Mentakab as with SelfPrint tickets via the GSC website.

From 15 to 18 March, GSC Mentakab Star Mall will be giving out a "Buy 2, Free 1" voucher with each purchase of two tickets at the ticketing counter. Moviegoers can also catch costumed movie characters such as Iron Man and Spiderman as they make their appearances at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm respectively this weekend.

Initially set to open on 19 January but delayed due to permit acquiring issues, GSC Mentakab Star Mall serves the latest addition in the state of Pahang joining GSC's current 5-screen cinema, GSC Berjaya Megamall and the 9-screen GSC East Coast Mall, which are both located in Kuantan.
