10 Jul – Fans and moviegoers in Kuching and Ipoh will now be able to enjoy wider options for movies in cinemas as MBO and TGV cinemas have decided to open outlets in both places respectively this week.

Following the relaunch of Galaxy Ampang outlet, MBO Cinemas will be relaunching another outlet in The Spring Shopping Mall in Kuching tomorrow, 11 July, while TGV Cinemas will be opening their outlet in Aeon Station 18 Mall in Ipoh for business on 12 July.

There will be 8 halls in TGV Station 18, making it the biggest TGV outlet in Ipoh yet, as TGV Kinta City only has 6 halls. In addition, TGV Station 18 will be holding an exclusive RM1 Popcorn sale for the first two days of its opening along with free ticket redemptions where one free ticket will be given for every fully completed leaflet downloaded from TGV website or Facebook page or obtained from presenters stationed throughout the mall presented.

The promotion is only valid from 13th to 19th July, with a maximum of 2 tickets redeemed per person.

On the other hand, MBO Cinemas at The Spring may not be newly opened, but its relaunch will be a welcome addition for cinema patrons, as its interiors have been newly redesigned.

Previously, there were only Star C'plex cinemas located in Sibu, Kuching, Bintulu and Miri, with the only other cinema besides Star C'plex chains being Lotus Five Star Riverside.

Guests at MBO Cinemas' relaunch will also be able to enjoy a screening of "Ice Age 4: Continental Drift".
