Chloë Grace Moretz joins "November Criminals"

Chloë Grace Moretz is set be a November criminal.

13 Oct – Chloë Grace Moretz is set to star in "November Criminals", which will be directed by "Hitchcock" director Sacha Gervasi.

The film is based on the 2011 novel by Sam Munson titled "The November Criminals". Set in Washington D.C., the protagonist Addison Schacht is somewhat of a rebel as he sells drugs to his classmates, insults his teacher and collects offensive jokes in his senior year of high school. But when his classmate Kevin Broadus is senselessly killed, he becomes obsessed with investigating the murder.

Moretz is attached to play the lead female role of Phoebe but Gervasi is still searching for the actor to essay the lead male role. Indian Paintbrush principal Steven Rales will produce with Beth O'Neil, while Steven Knight executive produces. The film could start shooting in early 2014.

Moretz's latest film, "Carrie" will release later this year. Moretz plays Carrie White in the remake of the classic 1976 film of the same name. Earlier this week, Thinkmodo, the company that made promo videos for "Limitless" and "Chronicle", released a video titled "Telekinetic Coffee Shop Surprise" on YouTube. The video has gone viral and racked up 29 million views.

The "Kick-Ass 2" star is set to appear in Sony's "The Equalizer" with Denzel Washington, which will release in late 2014. She is also set to appear in Lynn Shelton's film "Laggies" with Keira Knightley, which will also release in 2014.
