8 Jul – The film adaptation of the popular American series "Veronica Mars", will be casting James Franco as one of the several celebrities in the movie. Although Franco's role is still not officially confirmed, a source has reported that he will be playing the victim of a celebrity targeted scheme. Last March, "Veronica Mars" creator Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell, who plays the title character in the series, launched a Kickstarter fundraiser in an attempt to get the film made.
The production of the film is presently ongoing, and Thomas has begged fans not to reveal any spoilers or guest appearances before the film. The movie is scheduled to release in the earlier months of 2014. Just recently, Franco revealed that he will be directing and starring in the 1959 adaptation of "The Sound And The Fury".
