Olsen cast in "Avengers: Age of Ultron"

Elizabeth Olsen is cast in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron"!

4 Oct – Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury in the Marvel movie universe, accidentally spilled the beans saying that Elizabeth Olsen is officially cast in the new "Avengers" flick "Avengers: Age of Ultron".

Jackson let it slip when he was asked about the film itself, "I don't think we begin shooting before March of next year, I know we're shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. Olsen, but I don't know what she's doing, if she's on the inside or the outside. I haven't seen a script."

Though he did let it slip, he was honest about what he didn't know, which was her role, but speculations suggest that Olsen is up to play the role of Scarlet Witch, which director Joss Whedon has spoken up about as his favourite character.

Samuel L. Jackson couldn't keep the secret.

While there have been rumors that Elizabeth Olsen has been eyed for the role of Scarlet Witch in "The Avengers" sequel, Marvel certainly hasn't announced it officially.

Scarlet Witch's brother in the film will most likely be Aaron-Taylor Johnson, who has hinted multiple times that he's been reading up on the character Quicksilver.

Olsen had recently starred in "Martha Marcy May Marlene" where she had been critically acclaimed. She is also going to take up the "Godzilla" project, which will be out in 2014.

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are actually mutants, and are the son and daughter of "X-Men" character Magneto in the comic world. "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" is expected to be released in May 2015.
