9 Dec – Hollywood actor Ben Stiller, widely known from classic comedy films like "Zoolander" and "Tropic Thunder", sank his hand and foot prints into the courtyard of the famed TCL Chinese Theatre. He joins many of the biggest Hollywood celebrities from Joan Crawford to William Shatner to Hugh Jackman by imprinting his hands and shoes into the cement at the former Grauman's Chinese Theatre, a famous Hollywood landmark. "It's very, very meaningful to me," Stiller said after a ceremony outside the theatre.
The 48-year-old, who plays an infamous fantasist in his new movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty", also said he was making a wish come true by planting his prints at the landmark. Stiller is most known for his comedic abilities and he has starred in many modern classic comedies including "Meet The Fockers", "Little Fockers" and two "Night at the Museum" movies, and he was introduced at the ceremony by actor Tom Cruise, his co-star in 2008 comedy "Tropic Thunder".
Stiller's prints will join many stars as millions of tourists flock to the former Grauman's Chinese Theatre, before that it was called Mann's Chinese Theatre, every year to see the hand and foot prints of many Hollywood stars. "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" will be in cinemas on 26 December.
