"In line with our mission to become a new benchmark for local films ,"KL Zombi" is the first film to feature zombies with special effects make-up that include prostheses, latex and special contact lenses and costume that is approved of and modified appropriately for each zombie in the film".

"The filming locations chosen had to be in a state of disarray to give off a post-zombie attack feel," he also said at the premiere screening of the film at eCurve.
