Aquaman to appear in "Batman v Superman" film


Jason Momoa may take on the role of DC superhero Aquaman.

Jason Momoa's most recent role was as Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones".

16 Jun – Jason Momoa, famous for his role as Khal Drogo in the HBO TV series "Game of Thrones" and Conan in "Conan The Barbarian" may be making an appearance in the upcoming "Justice League" film, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" as Aquaman, the king of Atlantis.

Momoa will be joining along the main cast Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Ray Fisher (Cyborg) in this highly anticipated upcoming sequel of "Man of Steel".

Aquaman is an original character from DC comics whose power includes the ability to summon and communicate telepathically with marine life, super human strength and submarine speed.

Aquaman was the founding member of the Justice League of America in the 60s and took part in most of the 1960s adventures of the superhero team.

The film is set to release on May 6th, 2016 in U.S.


Sequel to 2013's "Man of Steel", "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will star Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.
