Cara Delevingne is in "Paper Towns"


Cara Delevingne set to star as Margo, the female lead in "Paper Towns".

17 Sep – Cara Delevingne is gearing up to play the lead role in the movie adaptation of John Green's novel, "Paper Towns".

The 22-year-old British beauty will be starring opposite Nat Wolff, who recently starred as Isaac in the first movie adaptation of Green's novel, "The Fault in Our Stars" reports TIME.

This is the biggest role the model has landed to date, having previously appeared in a smaller role in "Anna Karenina" as Princess Sorokina. She will also be appearing as a mermaid in the upcoming movie "Pan".

Cara Delevingne shows her excitement to star in the movie as Margo.

"Paper Towns" tells the story of two young neighbours, Margo and Quentin, who find the body of a man who died of suicide. The two eventually grow apart. She suddenly reappears in his life years later and after a wild night of seeking revenge on the people who have hurt her, she disappears once again. Quentin then starts receiving clues and follows them to find her.

Jake Schreier will be directing while Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, the same team that penned the script for "The Fault in Our Stars", will be writing the screenplay.

The movie is set to be released on 31 July, 2015 in North America.
