Daniel Radcliffe in "Now You See Me 2"

Daniel Radcliffe dabbles in magic again.

4 Oct – Daniel Radcliffe retired the wand when he last portrayed boy wizard "Harry Potter" three years ago, but he might be picking it up again soon – this time to play the son of a magician in the sequel to "Now You See Me".

The 2013 magician heist movie tells the story a group of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their performances. The movie received mostly negative reviews from the critics but was loved by moviegoers, as proven by its box office success, leading to the production of a yet-to-be-named sequel.

Michael Caine, who plays Arthur Tressler in the first movie, spills the beans to HeyUGuys in a recent interview and confirms that Radcliffe is set to star in the upcoming sequel. The 25-year-old is said to be playing Tressler's son in the movie.

The sequel will see the return of cast members Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Morgan Freeman, Dave Franco and Woody Harrelson. This time around "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" director Jon M. Chu will be helming the project.

Filming for the movie will be done in London, and it has been slotted for release in June 2016.
