29 Sep – Cue the sounds of breaking hearts, Hollywood's most eligible bachelor has been scooped up by the leading lady of his dreams. George Clooney officially ended his bachelor days when he and fiancée Amal Alamuddin exchanged their vows last Saturday. The "Gravity" actor and human rights attorney tied the knot on 27 September at Aman Canal Grande Hotel in Venice, Italy. It was a private ceremony conducted by Walter Veltroni, the couple's close friends and ex-mayor of Rome, and it was attended only by close friends and family of the American actor as well as of his British-Lebanese wife. It was a star-studded wedding, understandably, as most of Clooney's famous Hollywood acquaintances were on the guest list. Some of those in attendance were actors John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Bill Murray and U2 singer, Bono.
While photos of the groom on the happiest day of his life managed to surface online courtesy of the hounding paparazzi, there are, however, no photos of the blushing bride. Don't expect to see any soon as all the wedding photos' rights belong exclusively to U.S. Vogue, ONE News reports.
Even the guests were reportedly banned from bringing in mobile phones, as a way to prevent any pictures from being leaked. Fans will have to wait until the wedding spread comes out in the upcoming issue of U.S. Vogue to see the happy couple all decked up in their wedding gear. Until then, enjoy these pictures of the newlyweds making their first public appearance as husband and wife.
