28 Nov – Come 18 December 2014, Bilbo Baggins' journey comes to an end with the release of the third and final instalment that will conclude the famous Peter Jackson trilogy. In conjunction with the release of "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies", Golden Screen Cinemas is holding a marathon screening of the whole trilogy from 18 to 21 December 2014. The Hobbit Trilogy Marathon will be screened exclusively at the Dolby Atmos hall in GSC 1 Utama and GSC Pavilion KL, with tickets priced at RM35. The fee is inclusive of complimentary dinner, popcorn, drinks and chicken hotdog. An 'Orcrist' keychain will be distributed to each customer on the day of the marathon before the screening of the first movie. The fun doesn't end there as there will also be a lucky draw session before the screening.
The showtimes for the marathon is yet to be revealed, but it is informed that there will be a 10-minute interval between each movie. Stay tuned to Cinema Online for the showtimes. Tickets will start selling on 5 December 2014 from 12 noon onwards.
